Who inspires you?

I had the privilege of attending Britmums Live last weekend. I did not know what to expect, who I would meet or what I would learn. I felt shy and self-conscious as I waited in the queue, thinking everyone was looking at me stood on my own.

Last night I dreamed I was back at the Britmums Award Ceremony, waiting for the judge to call out the winners. My hands were sweating and my knees were jiggling, upsetting the glasses of champagne on the table.

So Thing-two is three. At her request, we organised a traditional party for her. We took her into town beforehand and let her try on every dress in the (sale) department of Debenhams, till she found one which was ‘twirly’ enough.

Thing-three loves a cuddle. Her first word was 'tuddle tuddle tuddle'. She wants to do it all the time. If I am too busy or too far away, she hugs my furry slippers instead.
